He has recorded 42 wins on the European Tour (2nd all-time) and sits among the current leaders on the PGA Tour Champions, where he has been one of the most successful performers since he turned 50.
Funk has been one of the most popular golfers on both the PGA and Champions tours during his entire golf career. He had his first PGA victory in 1992 at the Shell Houston Open. He would go on to win seven other PGA events including The Players Championship in 2005, the event’s oldest winner at 48 years of age.
